Known as Mr. Warmth, Johnny was thought to have spent more time with Washington women than their husbands did. John's deep baritone voice provided that empathetic friendship in the afternoon for those at work, shopping or just taking it easy. John stayed to the end of The Great 98. He became General Manager of the cluster of Salem Communications stations in Omaha until he retired in 2007. John passed away 2/15/18 after a 2 year battle with cancer.
